Cemetery

A cemetery is a designated area where people are buried. A cemetery is usually located on the outskirts of a city or village and is decorated with trees, flowers, and gravestones. Here, relatives of the deceased come to remember and visit their loved ones. Cemetery is considered important from religious, family, and historical perspectives. These areas are open to the public every day and cleanliness rules are observed. In Azerbaijan, cemeteries are usually managed by the municipality or a religious community.
