Cemetery refers to a specially designated area where deceased people are buried. Cemeteries generally belong to public or religious institutions. In these places, there are gravestones and family burial plots. Visitors come here to visit the graves of their loved ones. Maintenance and cleaning services for cemeteries are provided by the state or municipality. In Azerbaijan, every city and district has its own cemetery.
