Cemetery is a large area where people are buried and headstones are placed. Cemeteries are usually located near cities and villages, where families can visit their loved ones. Peace and cleanliness are maintained in these places, which are considered sacred sites visited by people. A cemetery can also belong to municipalities or religious communities. There are several large cemeteries in Baku and other cities of Azerbaijan. Special rules and permits may be required for burials in these places.
