A Cemetery is a special place where deceased people are buried. Cemeteries in Azerbaijan are usually managed by the state or the municipality. There, people visit their loved ones, clean the graves, and pray. A Cemetery is not a company or a business, but a public-purpose area. Its main function is to provide a safe and orderly place for burials. There are several cemeteries in the major cities of Azerbaijan.
