Ruins of the Ancient Gabala City Walls are historical defensive structures located in the city of Gabala, Azerbaijan. The remains of these walls were built in the 3rd century BC. They were constructed from stone and brick to protect the city from external attacks. Since Gabala was the capital of the ancient Albanian state, the walls played a major strategic role. Today, the ruins are preserved as a historical monument that attracts the attention of tourists. Excavations here have uncovered some defensive towers and sections of the walls.
