Kipchak is the name given to one of the ancient Turkic peoples. They mainly lived in Central Asia and played a historical role. The name of the Kipchaks is often mentioned in connection with the Kipchak steppes. They had their own language and culture. In Western Europe, they were also called “Cuman.” Throughout history, the Kipchaks lived as part of various states.
