Qumyataq Lake

Qumyataq Lake is a natural salt lake located in the southwest of Kazakhstan. The lake is mainly formed in a depression and is surrounded by deserts. Its water has a high salt content and the climate is arid. The area around the lake is not suitable for agriculture, and its flora and fauna are limited. Tourists and local residents mostly know the lake as a point of natural interest. Activities such as fishing and boating are not carried out on the lake.
