Shabran Fortress is a historic defensive structure located in the Shabran district of Azerbaijan. This fortress was built in the Middle Ages to protect the city and its population. The walls, gates, and towers of the fortress served as a defense system for the area. Some parts of Shabran Fortress have survived to this day and are considered an interesting destination for tourists. The fortress held strategic importance because it was situated at the crossroads of ancient routes. It is preserved as a historical monument and is open to visitors.
