Sabunchu village is an ancient settlement located in the Sabunchu district of Baku. Its history dates back to the 14th century, and it is predominantly inhabited by Azerbaijanis. One of the main occupations in the village is gardening and vegetable growing. Sabunchu village also has convenient transport connections. Public facilities, a school, and a cultural center play a major role in the development of the village.
