Shandan Fortress is an ancient defensive structure located in Azerbaijan. This fortress was mainly built to protect against enemy attacks. Shandan Fortress is constructed of stone and is surrounded by several watchtowers. The location of the fortress is strategically important and provides good oversight of the surrounding areas.
