Martyrs' Spring are commemorative springs located in various regions of Azerbaijan. These springs are mostly built in memory of people who became martyrs during the Karabakh and other wars. Usually, the springs serve a public function and provide residents with clean drinking water. Next to the spring, there is often the martyr’s name, photograph, and a memorial plaque. People come here to drink water and honor the memory of the martyrs. These springs are regarded as having both social and spiritual value.
