Sheki State Nature Reserve (10,350 ha) is a protected natural area located in the Republic of Azerbaijan and covers an area of 10,350 hectares. It was established in 1973 with the primary aim of protecting rare plant and animal species. The reserve includes forest, mountain, and river ecosystems. Favorable conditions have been created here for wild animals. Sheki State Nature Reserve (10,350 ha) is a temporary sanctuary type and scientific research is permitted here. The reserve is not intended for tourism; its main purpose is the protection and restoration of nature.
