Statue of Samad Vurgun is a monument erected in memory of the famous Azerbaijani poet. The statue was placed in 1961 in Baku, in front of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. This monument is made of marble and bronze, and its author is the sculptor Fuad Abdurahmanov. The company for monuments and statues is also engaged in the creation of this and other historical statues. Statue of Samad Vurgun is one of the well-known cultural landmarks in the capital.
