The Statue of Samad Vurgun is located in Baku, in front of the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre. This statue was created to immortalize the memory of the famous Azerbaijani poet Samad Vurgun. The statue was made of bronze in 1961 by the sculptor Fuad Abdurrahmanov. Monuments and statues, as examples of art, add special beauty to the architectural appearance of the city.
