Sohub Fortress is an ancient defensive structure located in the Quba district of Azerbaijan. This fortress was built in the Middle Ages to protect the local population from foreign invasions. The fortress’s walls and towers are mainly situated in a mountainous area that is difficult to access. According to historical sources, there are several observation posts here for defense purposes. Today, the fortress is considered one of the interesting historical monuments for tourists. Sohub Fortress has played an important role in the region’s past.
