The Water Supply Directorate is the organization responsible for the purification, storage, and distribution of water to the population. This directorate is in charge of the installation, restoration, and repair of water pipelines. In Azerbaijan, the main water supply company is called Azersu OJSC, which provides drinking water supply services to the country. The directorate ensures access to water for people in both urban and rural areas. The Water Supply Directorate monitors that the quality of water meets state standards. Resolving consumers’ water-related issues is also among the tasks of this directorate.
