Water Supply Directorate

The Water Supply Directorate is a state institution that ensures the delivery of drinking water to people in cities and villages. This directorate manages water sources, purifies water, and delivers it for household use. It oversees the distribution of water through drilled wells, reservoirs, and pipelines. The directorate also works to prevent water losses and eliminate malfunctions. Measuring water consumption with meters and collecting payments are also among its duties. In Azerbaijan, water supply is mainly carried out by "Azersu" Open Joint Stock Company.
