New Mosque is one of Baku's famous and historic religious monuments. This mosque was built between 1905 and 1914 in the center of the old city. Its architecture is distinguished by a combination of Eastern and Western styles. There are two high minarets and a beautiful dome here. New Mosque serves as a place of worship for the Muslim community and is one of the city's important symbols. During major religious ceremonies, the mosque can accommodate thousands of people.
