Seed Research Center is an institution in Azerbaijan that conducts scientific research in the field of seed production. The Center is part of the structure of the Academy of Sciences and is engaged in the improvement of seeds for agriculture. Here, the productivity and disease resistance of seeds from various plant species are studied. As a result of the research, higher quality and more productive seed varieties are developed for farmers. Specialists at the Center research and implement new agrotechnical methods. This institution plays an important role in maintaining and improving the country’s seed reserves.
