  • Uber Arts project (summer 2025)
    Uber Azerbaijan supported local artists. Uber cars were decorated with artwork, and QR codes inside led to the artists’ profiles. The project ended with an exhibition in Dendropark, Baku

    Driver support
    Uber, together with Mastercard and Unibank, issued Albalı Plus cards to drivers. These cards allowed faster payments, points accumulation, and access to bonuses

    COVID support (2020)
    During the pandemic, Uber in Azerbaijan introduced safety measures: drivers were provided with masks and sanitizers. Some rides for medical workers were free (source: old Uber press releases, currently inactive)

  • February 2025 — Launch of the Uber Azerbaijan App
    In February 2025, Uber released a separate app for Azerbaijan — Uber Azerbaijan. It works faster with slow internet, takes up less space, allows tipping, and supports intermediate stops. New users were offered discounts of up to 30% until the end of February
