Lake Umid is a natural salt lake located in Azerbaijan. The lake is mainly situated on the shore of the Caspian Sea, within the territory of the Hajigabul district. Its water contains many minerals and natural salts. Some of the surrounding villages use the lake’s water and salt. The lake is also a habitat for various water birds. This area is important for Azerbaijan in terms of nature and ecosystem.
