Kindergarten is an educational and training institution designed for young children. Kindergartens accept children aged 3–6 during the daytime and prepare them in accordance with the state program. Here, children both play and acquire social skills and basic knowledge. The institution employs trainer-educators, and children’s nutrition and safety are ensured. When parents are working, children receive professional care in such institutions. In Baku and other cities, there are various public and private kindergartens operating.
