Khachinchay Reservoir is a reservoir located in the Republic of Azerbaijan and used for drinking water supply. This reservoir also plays an important role primarily in irrigation of agricultural lands and farmlands. Built on the Khachinchay River, this facility regulates the region's water resources. The reservoir also serves to prevent floods and maintain ecological balance. Considered one of the region’s hydrological monuments, Khachinchay Reservoir is significant for the country’s water management.
