Khachmaz is a city and district center located in the north of Azerbaijan. Agriculture, fruit growing, and vegetable farming are mainly developed here. Many large and medium enterprises, including processing plants, operate in Khachmaz. The city is also known for its cultural and recreational sites, as well as its historical monuments. Large villages and other settlements play an important role in the district’s economic life. Its proximity to the sea also creates favorable conditions for the development of tourism in the district.
