Khachmaz Customs Directorate is a part of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan. This directorate is located in the northern part of the country, in the Khachmaz district, and is responsible for organizing customs control. Its main task is to inspect goods and vehicles crossing the border and ensure their compliance with the law. The service supervises import, export, and transit operations, and organizes the collection of taxes and duties. The employees working here enforce customs regulations and contribute to border security. Preventing smuggling and other illegal activities is also among its main duties.
