Khanbulan Reservoir is a large reservoir located in the south of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This reservoir is mainly used for drinking water supply and agriculture. Khanbulan Reservoir is situated near the city of Lankaran and meets the water needs of the region. The reservoir is also used for irrigation and fishing. Covering a vast area, this reservoir is also important from an ecological point of view.
