Khatirvank Monastery is one of the ancient Albanian monuments and is located in the Lachin district of Azerbaijan. This monastery dates back to the early Middle Ages and is mainly recognized as an example of Christian Albanian architecture. The building was constructed from stone materials and was considered one of the religious centers of its time. The walls of the monastery exhibit architectural elements and decorations characteristic of that period. Khatirvank Monastery embodies the historical and cultural heritage of the region. It is regarded as an important religious monument for Azerbaijani culture.
