Khizi is a city located in the northeastern part of Azerbaijan. It is part of the Guba-Khachmaz economic region and serves as the administrative center of Khizi district. The city is situated at an altitude of approximately 400 meters above sea level. The population is mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. Khizi is known for its nature and climate; the Qizilqaya and Altiagach National Park are located here. There are very few industrial enterprises in the city, with most jobs found in government institutions and the service sector.
