Khojaly is a city located in the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. This city became known worldwide for the Khojaly tragedy that took place in 1992. Khojaly is mainly an area engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. At one time, thousands of people lived here, but due to the conflict, the population has decreased. Today, Khojaly holds great symbolic and historical significance for Azerbaijan. The city has played an important role in the social and cultural life of the region.
