Yenikand is the name of several villages located in different regions of Azerbaijan. These villages are mainly engaged in agriculture, and the people here primarily work in animal husbandry, grain cultivation, and gardening. The infrastructure of the village is simple and its population mainly consists of local residents. There is usually a primary school and sometimes a medical center in these villages. The geographical structure and social life of Yenikand villages are characteristic of typical Azerbaijani villages.
