Yukhari Yayji is a village located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This village is situated in the Sharur district, on the right bank of the Arpachay River. The population is mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. There is a school, a library, and a medical center in Yukhari Yayji. The residents of the village are friendly and hospitable.
