Zagatala State Nature Reserve (6,557 ha) is a protected natural area covering 6,557 hectares. This reserve was established in 1929, and its main purpose is to protect the region’s rare plant and animal species. The area is mostly covered by forests and features rivers, mountains, and various animals. Animals such as bears, roe deer, and gazelles live in the Zagatala State Nature Reserve (6,557 ha). This temporary reserve plays an important role in environmental protection. Hunting and forestry activities are prohibited here.
