Zayam Jirdakhan is a large village located in the Shamkir district of Azerbaijan. The main occupation of the population is agriculture and animal husbandry. Historically, grain growing and viticulture have also developed here. Zayam Jirdakhan also has key social facilities such as a school, a kindergarten, and a cultural center. The villagers preserve their customs and traditions, and a strong sense of communal life prevails here. For the Shamkir district, this village is one of the important agricultural centers.
